As some of you may have noticed, I have unexpectedly vanished for a week and a half. (Sorry, forgot to warn peoples.) I come back home for a little while and find my message center clogged with 77 Deviations and 28 Messages? You people are insane!

Anywho, I was gone because I'm going to this three week college thing, called the TAG program at SMU.

So I was doing great, gettin' along fine and dandy for the first half of camp, when BOOM. Students start getting sick left and right. Some had strep, some had flu, some had this weird 48 hour thing going on... And BAM. I get sick. I get a fever of 100.2 (not a terrible one, I know), a slight headache, a bad cough, and itchy watery eyes. I first thought it was realy bad alleries, but when it got worse I told the RAs... So after an exciting game of phone tag between my mom, myself, and the Hall Directior, I am on my way home for a temporary vacation.

So here I am, sleeping in my own bed (heaven compared to the ones at the dorm) for the first time in a week and a half. Dad wakes me up _{during my one and only chance to sleep in as late as I want} and decided we're going to the doctor. So we go.

Dr. King comes in, says something along the lines of "Oh yes, it's probably a 48 hour thing, you can probably go back on Friday or Saturday. Let me just run this flu test and make sure you don't have anything more serious."

Guess what?

I HAVE THE FLU!

So I can't go back to camp until I've been fever free for twenty four hours, unmedicated. The problem is, the medication my doctor prescribed for me is Tamiflu.

Tamiflu is awful. It is this little innocent looking pill, with a demon living inside. Whenever I take it, I feel fine beforehand. AFTER I take it, I'm sick and vomitting and get terrible headaches. Once I vomit up the pill, I feel better. THEN I HAVE TO TAKE IT AGAIN AND IT STARTS ALL OVER.

So, there is my long and complaining pity party story. Thank you, and good night.
